The Capstone

According to scripture, Mt. Zion is the mountain of God, or God's home. Psalms say prophetically:

This mountain is however a mountain made of living stones, God's people that He governs through. We see these living stones in I Peter.

Hebrews 12 tells us it is a spiritual mountain. Natural Zion during David's reign was a type and shadow of this mountain. The King lived there and the people were governed from there. Again, Mt. Zion today is a part of God's Kingdom where He lives and rules from.

And on down in verses 22 and 23 we see it is not a physical mountain.

In the Lord's Day Zion is to be raised above all other mountains and hills. Isaiah prophesied of this time.

While God dwells and rules from this mountain, we must understand that there is also a counterfeit mountain that Satan lives in and give direction from, it's called Mt. Seir or the black mountain. The word promises total defeat to this evil mountain at the end of this age. We have a prophecy concerning this in Ezekiel 35:2-4.

Now let us look further on down to verses twelve through fifteen.

This victory against Mount Seir can only be accomplished however as God's mountain or government is raised up, or is seen and recognized, from top to bottom.

Here once again is scripture describing the destruction of black mountain and we begin to see how God will bring it about.

Who is Zerubbabel? His name means, one who has come out of Babylon or the harlot church found in Revelation in answer to Revelation 18:4.

Babylon is the mother of all the world's religions with their false doctrines, lies, pagan traditions, etc. We see her in Revelation 17: 4-5.

Looking back to Zechariah 4:7, what is this capstone or headstone mentioned in Zechariah? Her number is found in Strongs Concordance as 7222 in the Hebrew. I say "she" because she is the feminine of 7218. 7218 is the head, the beginning (of a new time), chief, principal ruler, top, etc. So she is the feminine head, the mother of new beginnings, the female principal ruler.

Remembering that this is a spiritual mountain made of living stones, the capstone itself, as we will see as we continue our study is Wisdom. She is God's thoughts released through revealers, to guide the Body of Christ through this final phase of the church. This Wisdom or knowledge is found in the Word, who is Jesus, the Tree of Life, and is released to lead His church into eternity.

It is important to understand the entire body of Christ if we are to understand the Capstone. Christ through the office of Teacher walks as Rabboni once again. Through the office of Pastor, He can shepherd His people, first calling them into His flock through the office of Evangelist. He tells each sheep what He expects them to do, whether they are a part of the body members, or office holders as He lives through the office of Prophet. He gallantly leads His armies and rises up as commander and chief on behalf of His people as the office of Apostle. Many are called to walk in these anointings that are sent to the nations, and not even used as leadership in a local church. They are sent to the remnant.

On the other hand, in scripture, we see Him also walking as a body member as the carpenter, setting the example of how He will walk through His body today. He will reach out to humanity in every avenue of existence through people from all walks of life. Everyone must be given a chance to enter the Kingdom. All the world must be reached.

Colossians 1:27 tells us, "it's Christ in us, the hope of glory." So if it is Christ in us that is the hope of a better world, the hope of His Kingdom being established, then we sure need to see all of Him restored to His full stature to bring this about. We can't have a head without a body, nor a body without the head.

The full measure of His anointing will be released as His offices, that form His head come together with his body. As the full stature comes into being they will have the anointing to break the yoke of all that is harmful to God's people, including death itself. You see, we have the hope and opportunity of being the 1 Corinthians 15:51 people that don't sleep, but are changed from mortality to immortality. But, for this to become a reality, there is still one part of His Head, or one part of the governing mountain, we must better understand. We will find this part of Jesus in Hebrews 3:1.

Since He has been restored back to earth through the fivefold offices and body members, we can perhaps understand, for Him to be totally complete, the dual gifting of Apostle and Prophet must be restored as well. How will we know these ones that He chooses to walk through as a dual anointed? They are His revealers. They have no particular office, just as His prayer intercessors have no recognized office. Why? Because He still occupies these offices as our King and High Priest at the right hand of God. Remember, He is omnipresent, so it is also Christ in us, the hope of glory. Therefore, His intercessors co-labor with Him. Revealers are ones Wisdom from the Tree of Life manifests through. Jesus is the Word, the Truth, the Tree of Life and Wisdom is the fruit from this tree. How do revealers function? How can we recognize them? We must seek the answers to these questions if Christ is to be a complete body and come to full stature as discussed in Ephesians.

There have been many duals all through the ages. They will be there to guide any time a major change is about to happen where God must intervene to bring about the change. Today, Wisdom, released from the King and High Priest Jesus through His revealers, is placed at the top of God's spiritual mountain. It is placed at the peak, the pinnacle, or the point of the capstone to lead and prophetically guide through these end times. Through His revealers He will enlighten His church that has for so long been wrongly taught from the knowledge of the Tree of Good and Evil. In other words, from the top of God's mountain, revealers will shine God's light for the remnant to find their way to God's household and Kingdom.
