Happy Hanukkah!!

We should all be looking forward to a worldwide Hanukkah. It may be coming sooner than we think! Here is why. In 167 BC Antiochus IV made the flat statement he was God manifested in the flesh! At the same time most of God's people were completely assimilated into the culture he enforced and the society he ruled. God intervened! He used a very small group of people to defeat the Grecian Empire Antiochus ruled through and they regained control of Jerusalem and the temple. What a foreshadow, a picture of today!!

To lay a foundation, to show the similarity, let us read from Isaiah 14 starting in verse 12 and read to verse 14.

Let us read also from Ezekiel 28:13-16. God spoke to the King of Tyre, but was actually addressing Satan who possessed him in the same way He spoke to Peter in Matthew 16:23.

So the same fallen angel not only operated through Antiochus, but the King of Tyre as well. You see, it has been Satan all along that has achieved his desires through the cruel, the evil, the wealthy and powerful down through the ages. Unfortunately he is still functioning through mankind today along with the evil spirits that follow him. He continues to relentlessly prove he is God to the world! Those in top level positions in the world are for that reason still his favorites to work through. The masses as a whole are so caught up in their personal daily lives that they pay little attention to what is happening around them and to them, in fact, they are oblivious of what is happening to the detriment of all creation. Everything is at risk! God sees, God knows and will at some point intervene. So you can see, it is no different today than it was in 167 BC, the people are just as absorbed into the world as they were then and the heads of the world's system have truly allowed Satan to become as God to the people through them!

Just as in the Maccabean era the enemy has seen to it that every law of God is broken. The works of the flesh are much more prevalent in humanity than the fruit of the Spirit for sure this time and they are global! This is evidence man's soul is in control over his spirit man, therefore Galatians 5:19-21 describes a very large sector of the society around us.

Satan's plan is to harvest as much of humanity as possible to the kingdom of darkness. How many walk in these things? How successful has he been? Those that walk in these things are evidence, his proof of ownership to God! See how cleverly he has shaped mankind to reflect his image?

Those that walk in the works of the flesh are seeds from the fruit of the Tree of Good and Evil, Satan himself! You find the fruit of this tree reproduced in all the systems of his world, its banking, government, schools and churches. Its culture also is evidence, proof he has become god to the multitudes! He has made them willing subjects of the kingdom of darkness. Their manners, morals, dress, speech and cruel personalities mirror his nature. This world he has masterminded stands alone in the universe, at odds with God, apart from the rest of creation, out of the order and original perfection God meant for earth to enjoy. How long will the sovereign God of the universe put up with all this! It all depends on how much time Father has allotted to Satan to attempt to fulfill his decree, win his challenge against Him. When God says “enough is enough” it will all be over and this world, all that is in it and those who love it will be destroyed.

As another modern comparison to Hanukkah of old let us look at the temple today and its condition. Where is it, what is it? Scripture tells us God's true temple, His house, is made of living stones. It is a spiritual house made of many mansions, individual people. God calls it the house of David or David's tabernacle.

It was God's plan all along to build a tabernacle for Himself to restore mankind and renew the earth. Again, this tabernacle is a body of people, a new species, born again, set aside, sanctified or cleaned up that united as one make His home on earth. These are His palace, His temple. A house only He can build.

Satan has done his very best to see to it this house or temple is not completed! Every start in that direction has been defiled, resulting in secret societies, denominations, mystery religions, etc. Truth that has been released through the ages has been slowly distorted, twisted, into many false doctrines and lies that have made people actually turn from God, not to Him! Lack of God's knowledge has produced a people that trust in man, rely on their own ability apart from God and has caused many to not believe He exists! There is also a large part of society that is angry with God because of the terrible circumstances that exist within this imperfect world when the fact is, the world does not belong to God at all! Jesus said He was no part of the world, and neither should those who love Him be.

As the earth belongs to the children of God and their Father, Satan owns the world with his children. Therefore all that happens in this world is the result of Satan's prompting. Hurricanes, fires, earthquakes etc are not acts of God at all, they are evidence of who is the god of this world, the prince of the air. The killings, rapes, murders and wars are not of God either, but are the nature of the evil spirit that rules. Sickness, death, pain and sorrow are the aftermath of the fall of man into the clutches of the enemy.

He is working, preaching, harder than ever before. The end is nearing and the true evil behind the scenes is being revealed. The enemy has had his way long enough! He has done all he can to debase and degrade God, violate man and contaminate all creation! What is to stop evil spirits from entering the humanoids, and what will they be capable of? All this would be very frightening if we didn't know God has His own plan!

Let's exonerate the name of God, stand for the Lamb, lay the blame for all this evil where it belongs! Let us separate from this world to the degree we can and feast on the fruit from the Tree of Life, to grow and mature, learn to live our lives governed by our spirit with the Holy Spirit leading the way that we can become the seeds of His fruit and restored to God's image.

Let us become seed of this fruit to regain God's image and then becoming fruitful ourselves reproduce and multiplying in others to heal the nations Satan weakened, restore the earth he is determined to ruin, let us be found evidence of God's Kingdom, standing victoriously, proof that God is supreme, sovereign, ruler of this earth. Let the throne of our hearts be clean and prepared for the enthronement of the Son of God, that a worldwide Hanukkah can begin and a Godly society where righteousness and peace dwell victoriously.
